Important Notice

Delegates are responsible for ensuring they obtain the appropriate visa to attend the conference in Paris. If you require an official invitation letter to support your French visa application, please indicate this in the relevant section of the Registration Form. Invitation letters will only be issued to registered and fully paid delegates.

France is a member of the European Union and part of the Schengen Area.

Visa Requirements by Nationality

EU/EEA/Swiss Citizens

  • Do not require a visa to enter France
  • Valid national identity card or passport is sufficient for entry

Citizens Requiring Schengen Visa

  • Must obtain a short-stay Schengen Visa before travelling
  • Contact the French Embassy or Consulate in your country or check the official French government visa portal
  • Processing times vary by country and season

⚠️ Important Travel Requirements

  • Apply Early: Apply for your visa well in advance, as processing times vary depending on your country and the season.
  • Passport Validity: Ensure your passport is valid for at least three months beyond your intended stay and was issued within the last ten years.
  • Travel Insurance: It is strongly recommended that you have adequate health and travel insurance covering medical emergencies during your stay in France.

Additional Travel Information

When travelling, airlines and other carriers generally require a valid passport even if an identity card may be legally acceptable for entry to France.
